Who is responsible for your data

What this website does NOT do

This is a simple presentation website — we sell nothing and take no bookings through it. Therefore:

• there are no forms — we collect no names, addresses or e-mail addresses,
• we do not use Google Analytics or any tracking tools,
• there are no social plugins and no Facebook pixel — our profile is reached through an ordinary link that sends nothing until you click it,
• the fonts are hosted on our own server, so your browser does not connect to any third party to load them.

Light and dark mode

The site follows your device setting for light or dark mode. If you use the switch in the header to choose one yourself, that single choice is stored in your browser (local storage, key soprano-motyw) so the site opens the way you left it.

Nothing is stored until you press that switch, the entry holds no personal data and is never sent to our server or anyone else. Under Polish electronic communications law it is information necessary to provide a feature you explicitly requested, so no consent banner is required. You can remove it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

What is processed

Server logs. Like every website, ours runs on a server that automatically records technical details of each connection: IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser type. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working. The data is kept on our behalf by the hosting company for the period set out in its terms.

The map. On the Contact page the Google map does not load by itself — it appears only after you click the button. Only then does your browser connect to Google Ireland Limited, which may receive your IP address and set its own cookies, on Google’s terms described in the Google privacy policy. If you do not click, no connection to Google takes place.

Order calculator. The “Work out your order” page runs entirely in your browser. The dishes you pick and the distance you enter are never sent anywhere and never stored — refresh the page and the list is empty. The amount shown is indicative and is not a commercial offer within the meaning of Polish civil law (art. 66 § 1 of the Civil Code).

Phone contact. When booking a table or ordering delivery you give us your name, phone number and address over the phone. We use them solely to complete the order (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and keep them no longer than settlement of the order and tax law require.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, its rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Requests are accepted by phone, by e-mail at kontakt@pizzeriasoprano.pl or in writing at the restaurant address.

If you believe we process data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).

Recipients of the data

Server log data is available to the hosting company that keeps the site running and to the company providing IT support. Beyond that we pass data to no one, do not sell it and do not use it for profiling. A transfer outside the European Economic Area can only occur if you choose to load the Google map.

Changes

If the site gains new features — a booking form or online ordering, for example — this policy will be updated accordingly.
